Welcome to the Charlotte Table Tennis Club!!!
The Charlotte table tennis club serves the Charlotte NC area at the Hawthorne Racket club for everyone interested in table tennis/ping pong. All levels of play from recreational to pro are represented. We have been active in Charlotte for over 25 years and welcome all to participate in the most popular indoor sport in the world.
We are a USATT sanctioned club and abide by their national rules and guidelines. (usatt.org)
Newcomers are welcome to check out our facilitiy. Bring a racket, athletic shoes and dress to work out.
There have been some rule changes over the last few years: Games are to 11, serve changes every 2 points. Serve changes every point at deuce until someone wins by 2. Matches are best 3 out of 5 games. The size of the ball is slightly increased: 40mm from 38mm. This change is hardly noticeable to most.
You will find ages 8 to 80, playing for fun or practicing for a national tournament. Bring a friend, challenge our members, join the league or even enter a tournament. Regardless of your experience or skill level, come out and join the fun!
